Hill Holt Wood, the University of Lincoln and Associate Bryce Gilroy Scott

Hill Holt Wood is a charity and environmental social enterprise operating in a small woodland. This KTP aimed to establish an environmental, social enterprise construction company, and has led to the construction of Eco Community Hall. The Hall used specialist knowledge in Zero Energy design, and is constructed entirely of earth walls with a shingled roof. By utilising solar energy, it will be completely off the grid. Such was the high profile of this project, that the Prince of Wales visited the site in January 2009.
