Award Winning Partnerships
The Knowledge Transfer Partnerships Awards celebrate the best Partnerships completed between 1 April 2008 and 31 March 2009. To be eligible for this award, the final report from a Partnership needed to have achieved an ‘outstanding’ or ‘very good’ grade from the KTP panel of external assessors.
Eligible Partnerships were invited to submit nomination forms if they wished to be considered for a Best Partnership Award. These nominations were submitted jointly by the knowledge base, business partners and by the Associate(s) and describe the work undertaken, the issues faced, how they were overcome and the benefits that were accrued by each of the participants in the Partnerships.
A commentary was provided for each nomination by the KTP Adviser originally assigned to the nominated Partnership. The commentaries assisted the Awards selection panel by providing objective feedback on the success of the Partnerships.
Each regional winning Partnership was selected by the relevant Regional Group, consisting of Advisers, KTP Programme Management and officials from the Technology Strategy Board and other funding organisations.
