An exciting opportunity has become available for a qualified graduate to develop a "next-generation" automated production solution for Craftsman Tools and to transform their product design and management systems.
You will be responsible for managing the project and developing new production processes, product designs, and management systems through the utilisation of industrial analytics by working closely with the Managing Director and Applications Engineers at Craftsman Tools and Mechanical Engineers from the University of Huddersfield.

You will need to be a motived self-starter with good verbal and written communication skills along with experience and knowledge of mechanical design and development, utilising CAE tools and techniques to convert concepts into reality.
Experience in manufacturing systems such as machine tools and automation, quality control including geometric tolerances and engineering drawing creation would be beneficial.
Attention to detail and the ability to analyse data for statistical analysis will be important. You must be inquisitive with the ability to work responsibly, with enthusiasm and effectively with people at all levels.
You will be self-motivated, well organised and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
