An exciting new opportunity has become available to work on a 27-month Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) between Manchester Metropolitan University and SPL Foods Ltd. The purpose of this KTP is for SPL Foods Ltd to become a centre of knowledge and expertise for Smart Salt applications, to enable the wide spread adoption of this new material in the food industry, significantly growing sales and transforming the services offered by the business.
Skills required: You will have experience in:

• Planning and designing experiments.
• Food production processing.
• Analysing data.
• Communicating data all levels.

Ideally, you will have industrial experience in a development role, involving testing regimes for quality and shelf life and an understanding of production (constraints and limitations).

Company business area: Supply food and ingredients - individual catering operations, meal manufacturing, retail chains and multi-national food service groups.
