A Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) is a three-way project between a company, a university and a recently qualified graduate or post-graduate (known as an Associate), which enables the transfer of knowledge, technology and skills to which the company currently has no access. Supported by the University, KTP Associates manage strategic projects within the company.
Exa Networks and the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Bradford are cooperating to develop a state-of-the-art web classification system using artificial intelligence to enhance performance of the company’s web content filtering service.
The successful applicant will be embedded in the multi-talented team of enthusiasts who are each specialists in their own field and will primarily be based at Exa Networks in Bradford with regular time spent at the University of Bradford with the academic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a well-motivated and capable individual to boost his/her career by joining Exa Networks.
You should have a Masters degree (or be expected to achieve one soon) in a relevant area (e.g. Computer Science, Software or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics), and preferably a PhD. You will have very strong software development experience. You will be an enthusiastic self-motivated person, who is reliable and well organized, and can work in an interdisciplinary environment as part of a team.
