The aim of the project is to develop next generation production systems for leafy salad crops that utilise cutting edge LED lighting technologies to improve quality and reduce waste.
You will have an undergraduate degree at 2.1. or above in Biological Sciences, Agriculture, Engineering or similar. Experience of undertaking detailed plant growth studies is highly desirable. Knowledge of statistics and data analysis is desirable. Some experience of land-based industry is also desirable. You will be self-motivated with a creative and scientific attitude suitable for developing leading edge technology. You will have excellent communication, project management and team working skills, and the ability to work at all levels in an organisation.
The successful candidate will on occasion need to travel and work between the two locations and should hold a full driving licence.
