In partnership with the University of Bedfordshire, Harrod UK Limited are looking for an enthusiastic recent graduate to help deliver a project & to take a new innovative product to market. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious graduate to launch a career in industry with the support of company & academic mentors over a period of 36 months.

You will be responsible for the project management, involving the development of an optimised combination of sensors (including ultrasonic infrared & laser sensors) that will estimate in real-time the stat related to the ball velocity & interception point location between the ball & football goal bar plane. You will be also responsible for developing a micro controller system to support the sensors & to enable real-time wireless data transmission to a mobile device user application.
Skills required: Essential:
* Knowledge of a broad range of micro controller & sensor technologies
* Strong Knowledge of electronics assembly processes & test methodologies
* Understanding of software design for micro controllers
* use of solid modelling CAD system
* Excellent verbal & written communication skills with the ability to understand complex technical information & convey this into easily understood instructions
* Ability to work to deadlines while demonstrating a track record for innovation & creativity
* Strong command of English language with the ability to accurately interpret complex standards
* The ability to contribute to a team effort whilst being a self-starter, highly motivated & willing to take the project lead
* The ability to demonstrate a logical approach to problem solving & methodical investigate-oriented & inquisitive mind.

* Demonstrate experience in developing electronic systems
* Demonstrable experience in previous assembly of sensors & micro processor systems
* Demonstrable experience in optimised algorithm development & the field of signal processing
* Previous work in teams & on problem-solving in electronic engineering
