To take a lead role in managing and embedding within the company the professional activities of Market Research; User Centred (Product) Design (UCD) and Design For Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) (and Transportation) in order to provide the Zest-4-Leisure brand of self-build garden products a market leading position. This will be achieved through enduser recognition of being easy to build, having good appearance with product features targeted to the user needs of a segmented market.

> A Good understanding of Market Research processes.
> A Good understanding of User Centred Design
> A Good understanding of Design For Manufacture & Assembly
>Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate and relate to business professionals and end-user customers.
>Self-motivated and well organised with the capability of taking the lead role and managing others.
> Good IT skills including use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel documents (or equivalent) to produce reports and manage data.
> Product design skills including Concept Generation, Technical Design Detailing and Model Making.
> High degree of creativity and problem solving.
> Ability to use 3D Computer Aided Design software to produce design visuals, engineering drawings.
> Previous experience of working successfully in a team environment
> Ability and Willingness to travel within the UK and overseas.
